PMKVY

The Union Cabinet has approved the PMKVY Scheme for another four year (2016-2020) to skilling 10 million youth. The booklet has various guidelines under the PMKVY 2.0 Scheme.
The Guidelines in this booklet have the approval of the PMKVY committee. All guidelines given below.

1. Short Term Training Guidelines

The short term Training is expected to benefit candidates who are either school/college dropouts or unemployed. Training Centre shall impart training in soft skills. financial. And entrepreneurship. The course duration per job role ranging between 150 and 300 hours. After successful training the candidates shall be provided placement assistance by training partner. Under PMKVY training fee and assessment fees are paid by the government. PMKVY Franchise and Training Partner can not take any charge from students.

2. RPL Guidelines

Recognition of prior Learning aims to align competences to the national skill qualification pack. Sector Skill Councils or any other agencies shall be incentive’s to implement RPL in RPL camps, Employer premises and RPL centres.

3. Design Special Project

Government will facilitate trainings in special areas and corporate or industry bodies and trainings in job roles are not defined under QP and NOS. Special Projects are require some terms and conditions of short term training under PMKVY 2.0.

4. Placement Guidelines

PMKVY 2.0 Scheme help to create employment opportunities in the market. Training Centre provide opportunities to candidates, trained and certified under PMKVY 2.0 Scheme. Training Partner support to entrepreneurship development. Every PMKVY Franchise assist student for job placement.

5. Kaushal and Rozgar Mela

Social and Community mobilization is necessary for the success of PMKVY 2.0. PMKVY assigns to involvement of the target beneficiaries . Training Partner conduct Kaushal and Rozgar Melas every six months with press/media converge. Every PMKVY Franchise conduct kaushal and rozgar mela every six months.
